Who’s Bert?

We pulled Bert from a local shelter in October 2024 along with his brother, Ernie, at about seven weeks old. They were both emaciated and full of parasites. Barely two days after taking Bert into our care, we rushed him to the ER where he passed away due to an overburden of parasites - his tiny, malnourished body couldn’t fight any longer. Bert fought for his entire seven weeks of life, and we were determined not to let him be another statistic of an unwanted litter. To honor his life, Operation No More Berts was born.

Operation No More Berts

Created out of love for our sweet Bert, Operation No More Berts is a spay and neuter program dedicated to ending the epidemic of unwanted, discarded, and abandoned litters. We work with other local organizations that assist families in need and sponsor a spay or neuter for a family who can’t afford this essential procedure for their pet.
